February

The School Prevention Roundtable will meet at the Regional Prevention Center on Wednesday, February 10 at 8:30 am. Intensive Family Counseling will speaking on its One Step Ahead grand Program.

STOP Underage Drinking coalition will meet on Thursday, February 11 at 3:30pm at the Sunset Building.
Kris Wachter from Adolescent Center for Treatment will speak on substance abuse and peer pressure.

Janine Gracy, Director of Regional Prevention Center, will present "Pulse Check on Current Drug Trends" on Tuesday, February 16 from 11:30 to 1:00 at Westwood City Hall, Westwood, Kansas. Registration fee of $8.00 includes a complimentary lunch. For reservations, call Garth Smith at 913-982-8207. CEU's will be awarded.

STOP coalition will present A Wrong Of Passage at the Blue Valley Northwest Spring Athletic Night on Sunday, March 7 at 6:00 pm at Blue Valley Northwest High School.

STOP coalition meeting will be held on Thursday, March 11 at 3:30pm at the Sunset Building.

Miami County Connect Kansas coalition will host their first Spring Blast on Wednesday, March 17 from
9 am until 3 pm at the Miami County Fairgrounds.

STOP coalition will present A Wrong Of Passage at the Blue Valley North Spring Athletic Night on Monday, March 22 at 6:00pm at Blue Valley North High School.

Kansas Transportation Safety Conference will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 30 and 31 at the Overland Park Doubletree Hotel.

The Metropolitan Healthy Communities coalition meeting will be held The Regional Prevention Center (RPC) serves communities, families and individuals in Johnson, Leavenworth and Miami counties. The RPC is committed to helping create healthy and positive communities for children and youth. Services available include presentations, a lending resource library, educational brochures, statistical and technical assistance.
